When concerned parents ask, “How else can I help my kid?”
It often comes back to this: Make sure they can read.

When a child masters the systems needed to read Hebrew, they will be confident, capable, lifelong learners who eagerly tackle new challenges and don’t dread school anymore.
His confidence in reading and attitude towards it improved so drastically! His accuracy and fluency picked up, and he doesn’t think of himself as a non-reader anymore.
He had difficulty with many of the kriah rules and couldn’t form words correctly. His fluency wasn’t progressing. We tried repeating the skills, but it took too long to show progress and he lost confidence in his abilities. We hit a wall. His attitude toward reading had changed so drastically that we knew we needed professional instruction for him and support for us. Within the first hour, Chani honed in on our son’s particular instructional needs and delivered a thought-out and well-executed curriculum. She was honest with him about expecting a certain quality of work, and she praised him when he did well, which was so rewarding. Besides for overall improvement, his confidence in reading and attitude towards it improved so drastically! His accuracy and fluency picked up, and he doesn’t think of himself as a non-reader anymore.

She was determined to help our son succeed and had a care, love, and dedication for his success.
We had different people work with our son, but none of their methods helped him read. When we heard about Chani after trying so many options, we were skeptical if she could help. But she was determined to help our son succeed and had a care, love, and dedication for his success. He’s now confident in his ability to read. It’s a relief in all aspects — we can now send him to school and know he will stay on course. Working with Chani was excellent — a professional experience that gave us results.

It gave my student the confidence to succeed not only in reading, but across other disciplines as well.
We tried one level of intervention, which wasn’t enough. We reached out to Mrs. Karp but we were concerned — would it actually work? Over time we saw clear evidence of change, and clear success, from her services. It gave my student the confidence to succeed not only in reading, but across other disciplines as well.
